In response to the worldwide requirements for energy efficiencies and for power supplies to meet low power consumption requirements, Ecopac Power have introduced a new range of Mean Well power supplies with the launch of the ELP-75 series a 75 watt AC/DC open frame power supply.
With high efficiency, low no-load power consumption and cost effective, these PCB type power supplies are designed to install directly into system chassis. Compared to the first generation of slim PCB type the LPS-75 series, the efficiency of the ELP-75 series has been increased by up to 11%.
With advanced high efficiency circuit design the ELP-75 series has 90 – 264 Vac universal AC input with up to 90% of high efficiency. The working temperature range operates from -30°c to +70°c ambient temperature. Incorporating built-in active PFC function, the ELP-75 series meets the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current, reducing the interference caused by AC mains to the end system.
Protections include short circuit, overload, and over voltage with low no-load power consumption of less than 0. 5 watt. This allows designers to easily conform to the requirements of ErP (Energy-related Products) for end user systems. The ELP-75 series also complies with UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE.
Suitable applications include factory automation, electrical and mechanical industry, and all applications that requires low no load power consumption and high operating efficiency.
